Starting at any college can be a stressful transition. This website should introduce UW-Whitewater students to different resources centered around campus that will provide tips and tricks for success when beginning a college career here. Getting involved with organizations on campus is one of the most beneficial things a student can do to thrive throughout their college career.

Overall pretty good I would say the way the site is set up is a little bit confusing. Also add your media kit info! On the homepage just make a connection between the site title and information give.

Can you figure the goal/purpose of their website out easily? What do you think about their website? This was a little tough to find the purpose of this website
How, and to what extent, did they clearly provide information about their website on the homepage? If they didn’t provide enough information about their website, provide some suggestions. One suggestion I would make is the organization of the website. I only seen two pages at first glance of the website
How clearly did they organize their website? If they didn’t clearly organize the website, provide suggestions as to why it wasn’t clear. To make it more clear I would add more pages to your home page
Do they provide appropriate multimedia with substantial information and captions? How well did they provide them? If not adequate, provide some suggestions. Multimedia was done very well!

Hi Madison! Your website is an excellent resource for students who are unsure on how to get involved on campus. I could have used this information my freshman year. The purpose of your website was clear and I understood what the topic was about. Navigating your website was a little difficult for me since you did not have any pages at the top of the page. Having all of your pages as categories would be difficult for people visiting your website to find your other pages. I also thought the theme was bland and could use some more color and energy. I was a tad confused with the DiGiorno pizza event you had in the “Recreation” page as to why it was there. I also noticed your Media Kits were not on your website, which I’m pretty sure is a requirement. Your multimedia had good captions that described the photo perfectly. Some things to improve on would be to take your pages out of the categories, add Media Kits, and improve the theme (if possible). Great job, Madison!😁

Thank you for your feedback. Multiple themes would not work on my account for some reason, I wish I could add more patterns but I am worried to mess with the theme since Professor had to help me set it up. Thank you for the suggestion on moving my pages, I will look into adjusting it. I also talked to some classmates today and will add my media kits in a differnt palce(including infor for Digornios since I was confused at first)
