Having fun can mean different things to everyone. While campus has lots to offer for recreation, the communities surrounding Whitewater has lots to offer as well.
Dining in Whitewater: Enjoy restaurants such as Culvers, Taco Bell, Arby’s, Subway, Jersey Mikes, Qdoba and McDonalds. For local restaurants check out Fat Jack’s Jessica’s, 841 Brewhouse, Cozumel, Sweetspot, Fanatico’s and so many others.
Day trips: Have fun on the Ice Age Trail, or have fun with Digiorno Pizza. This will be the first make your own pizza event Digiorno will host, with success, there are possibilities of more events like this one. All supplies needed will be provided by Digiorno Pizza. Supplies will be their usual ingredients, all set out in a buffet type style, to add as many frozen toppings as the guests would like to their pizza. Make your own pizza event will be held on March 11, 2023 at 3:00pm. The event will be held in Northbrook, Illinois. This is where Digiorno headquarters are located, making this an easy location to host. There will be no additional shipping costs for the supplies needed for this event. This is a family friendly event. Each guest at the Make Your Own Pizza event will start with the base of frozen crust, sauce and cheese they will then be able to add whichever toppings they choose, or none at all. There is no limit to the toppings, however Digiorno chefs will be there to encourage a proper portion so the pizza is still able to be baked properly in the oven. If guests enjoy the taste of the pizza from this event, the hope is they will purchase a Digornio pizza of a similar flavor at their next trip to the grocery store.
