Attending events on campus is a great way to meet new friends, connect with other students and faculty, and to learn more about your Whitewater community. UW-Whitewater offers events focused on career services and professional development. Chances are if others are attending the same event as you, you will both have similar interests and maybe even similar hobbies.
The Warhawk Connection Center is part of the Student Activities & Involvement Center which is home to so many programs that host events, focus on retention and educate incoming students. Fireside Chats are educational events hosted by the Warhawk Connection Center. These events are focused on diversity while fostering a sense of community. The Warhawk Connection Center also has resources on their website to get involved with resident organizations such as Black Student Union, Greek Life, and the PB Poorman Pride Center for example.
